This is true, however if you use [skill]Mantra of Frost[/skill] I've heard it decreases the afflicted explosion cause apparently explosion damage is cold damage.

What PvP? I'm not being sarcastic... I love my sin but can NEVER find groups for PvP.
Please tell me if you know!

I started guildwars as an assassin on factions and I probally sucked at first, but that was simply because i was new to the game. I woulda sucked on any class right? When i started i had no idea that it was a hated profession but once i found out(i think a few missions into the mainland) i wasnt starting over because i enjoyed the class the most outta the others(i did trial the others for abit, not alot though) and by that time i was fairly good with the class. It was a major pain going through certain missions on factions when there were so many assassins around and chances are you wont get accepted.
But I still think i did better then most of the other in my team but just get my ass outta there before the afflicted explode. In most cases im probally one of the last ones alive in the group because i know how to use my assassin very good these days. Just dont be a tank and you wont suck, and choose skills that go together.
I find assassins are used both pvp and pve but my personal oppinion they are better for pvp then they are pve. But thats just because i really havent messed around with alot of pve builds and i love pvping with my sin. Is it just me or do sins seem to be unique and always want to fight each other one on one?
....I had some guy trying to get the survivor title once on a noob that i made and going got tough for this guy and he quit.

A/Me with Mantra of Frost = Happy. ^_^
[It makes a difference even with very little Insp Magic.]
{Additional Note: Crazyvietguy said something very similar on this same page, so I noticed...}

people who think assassins are for PvP just don't know much abt assassins yet. In other words they're noobs. No class rocks in PvP alone.
